Head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, has expressed confidence that the Phobians can still win the Ghana Premier League, despite their inconsistent performance. Currently, Hearts of Oak sit in sixth place, five points behind league leaders Aduana Stars, following a goalless draw against Young Apostles on Sunday.
This draw marks the sixth time the Phobians have failed to secure a victory in their last eleven games, leading to concerns about their chances for the title. However, Didi Dramani remains optimistic, stating, “It’s still possible to win the league because we have over thirty matches left to play. We just need to convert our draws into wins. To win the league, you have to win games.”
Regarding Sunday’s match, where the Phobians struggled to score once again, Dramani remarked that their opponents were particularly motivated. “The game unfolded as we anticipated. We knew they would be energized because they were facing Hearts of Oak. It was a match with few chances and a lot of transitional plays,” he explained.
In November, Hearts have managed just one win, which was a 2-1 victory over Basake Holy Stars. Looking ahead, the Phobians will face Vision F.C., Karela United, and Nations F.C. in their next three league fixtures.
